Dale has grown up in Edgemere, Maryland, a small steel town community on the Chesapeake Bay. Living in a small community in Maryland, he has been around hunting his entire life. His first hunt was just after he turned nine and received his hunting license.
At the age of nine Dale and his Dad waded through marsh to a Point Blind that had about 1000 geese around it the night before.Dale had his Dad's Remington 20 gauge, he had NEVER shot a shotgun before. As the geese got up he just shot at the main mass of birds and dropped his first Canadian Goose.
Dale has been a Waterfowl Fanatic ever since that time many years ago.Dale grew up hunting big game with his Dad and friends, but has been dedicated to waterfowl hunting since he shot that first goose years ago.
Since 2009, Dale has participated in many calling contests up and down the East Coast. Even placing in World Goose Calling Contests, and becoming a Maryland State Goose and Duck Calling Champion. He participates in calling contests to practice and improve his calling ability, and to learn from other waterfowl hunters. He spends the spring and summer fishing for bass and Striped Bass (Rockfish)on the Chesapeake Bay watershed. He also spends much of his time as he can designing and improving calls for Hunter Calls.
Rob Pratt is from Mount Airy MD , he has been hunting since 12 and really enjoys guiding and hunting with friends. Rob is the owner of cedar springs landscape and hunts almost every day during the waterfowl seasons in pursuit of harvesting birds, meeting new people and having a good time regardless of the hunts outcome. Waterfowl hunting in Rob's opinion is the best sport because from flooded timber, creeks, rivers, bays, impoundments, and fields they all provide something different to overcome. Regardless of the hunts outcome staring across a bay watching divers skim the water, ducks almost falling through the trees, honkers committed 300yds out, and snows spiraling down on the spread is some of the coolest things anybody can experience. Rob's favorite hunt is always his next hunt and waking up each morning and being able to do it is a blessing. He is thankful to have a beautiful wife who supports his hobbies and doesn't mind 3:00am alarms (sometimes).
